My passion for jewellery stems from hours spent rummaging through my Grandmother’s treasures as a child and then continued through my travels, collecting pieces as I went. I come from a family of talented artists, however life took a corporate turn and it wasn’t until years later and a course at Central St. Martins’ that the passion for making jewellery was born. I currently work with materials I source from all over the world to create something unique.
My preference is to work with natural stones as I love the way they feel on your skin and reconnect us to nature in this hectic world. Each finished piece is handmade and one of a kind. My styles are eclectic and evolving as I don’t think many women’s styles are one dimensional.
The original idea was to create an effortless way of dressing up a pair of jeans and t-shirt, whilst providing some creative therapy for the designer. Inspiration can be anything from conversations to a lovely walk in the park. I don’t always get the design I first imagine, however sometimes the best pieces come from mistakes…and sometimes those pieces get reworked! Either way the process is the best part.
